This page explains which cookies farmaciasalou.com uses, why, and how you can manage them, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spain's LSSI-CE and the GDPR.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or how the site is being used.
2. Which cookies this site uses
farmaciasalou.com uses a single analytics service, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-F51DTJ3DX7). The analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are only set if you explicitly accept the cookie notice. Until you accept, or if you reject, no cookie is set: the Google Analytics tag runs in consent-denied mode and sends only a technical signal with no cookie and no identifier that could recognise you on a later visit, which Google uses to estimate site traffic in aggregate, never to measure your visit individually.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes users to measure site usage (statistics, not advertising). | Up to 2 years | Analytics (first-party, consent-gated) |
_ga_<id> |
Google Analytics 4 | Maintains session state for Analytics property G-F51DTJ3DX7. | Up to 2 years | Analytics (first-party, consent-gated) |
We do not use Google Ads or any advertising cookie. The advertising-related consent categories (ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization) stay denied at all times, including after you accept analytics, because the notice only asks you about site measurement.
This site also stores in your browser's local storage (localStorage, not a cookie) your decision on the cookie notice (accepted or rejected) and the date you made it, only on this device. That value is never sent to any third party.
3. How these cookies are set
The first time you visit farmaciasalou.com you'll see a notice with two options: "Accept" and "Reject". The Google Analytics 4 tag loads from the first moment, configured not to set any cookie until you decide. If you press "Accept", the analytics cookies are set and your visit is measured individually. If you press "Reject", or don't interact with the notice, no cookie is set: only the aggregate, cookieless signal described above is sent to Google.
4. How to withdraw your consent
You can change your decision at any time by clicking the "Cookies" link in the footer of any page, which reopens the cookie notice. You can also delete any cookies already set from your browser's settings.
5. Legal basis
The use of these cookies is based on your explicit consent (article 22.2 LSSI-CE and article 6.1.a GDPR). For more on how we handle personal data, see our privacy policy.
