This policy explains how we handle the personal data of people who visit farmaciasalou.com or contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. Purpose of processing

  • Responding to the queries you send us by email or WhatsApp (for example, about opening hours, product availability or the duty pharmacy rota).
  • Measuring how the website is used and how it performs, via Google Analytics 4, only if you accept the analytics cookie in the cookie notice.

We do not build profiles for advertising purposes and we do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. If you write to us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled through the WhatsApp app (Meta), under its own privacy policy, not this website's.

3. Legal basis

  • Queries by email or WhatsApp: your consent, given by starting the contact (article 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Analytics cookie (Google Analytics 4): the explicit consent given through the cookie notice (article 6.1.a GDPR and article 22.2 LSSI-CE). Until you accept, no analytics cookie is set: Google Analytics receives only a technical signal with no cookie and no persistent identifier, which it uses to estimate visit volume in aggregate, never to measure your visit individually.

4. Recipients and international transfers

Analytics data collected via Google Analytics 4 is processed by Google Ireland Limited, acting as processor, under Google's own data processing terms. Google may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; where it does, it relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. We do not share your data with any other third party except where legally required.

5. Retention period

  • Queries by email or WhatsApp: for as long as needed to respond to them, and afterwards for any applicable legal limitation periods.
  • Analytics cookie (_ga / _ga_*): up to 2 years from your last visit, or until you delete the cookie or withdraw consent, whichever happens first (Google Analytics 4's default duration).

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to miramarfarma@gmail.com, stating which right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your ID document. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe the processing does not comply with the applicable rules.
