Reus is also one of the few towns in the area with a pharmacy open 24 hours every day, according to the COFT's register of extended hours. Need a pharmacy on a Sunday, a public holiday or in the middle of the night in Reus? The pharmacies of the Baix Camp capital take turns following the Col·legi de Farmacèutics de Tarragona calendar, and several also open extended hours. Farmàcia Arqué isn't part of that rota — we're in Salou, on the coast — but during our own opening hours we're an alternative in the neighbouring comarca.
As in the rest of the province, the duty service in Reus is organised by the Col·legi Oficial de Farmacèutics de Tarragona (COFT), which assigns a rotating shift among the town's pharmacies to guarantee 24 hour cover every day of the year.

We're a Salou pharmacy, on the coast, and we're not part of Reus's duty rota — that calendar only rotates among the town's own pharmacies. We share a professional association, the Col·legi Oficial de Farmacèutics de Tarragona, but not a calendar. If you come down from Reus to the beach, we're at Passeig de Miramar 72, on Platja de Ponent, and during our hours we speak Spanish, Catalan, English and French, no appointment needed.

If it's within our regular hours and you're already in Salou or heading to the beach, yes: we speak Spanish, Catalan, English and French. Outside our hours, Reus has its own duty rota and extended-hours pharmacies that will be closer.
The duty pharmacy dispenses exactly as it would in normal hours: medicines that require a prescription still require one, and those that don't are dispensed with pharmacist advice.
