At Farmàcia Arqué in Salou we dispense prescriptions issued in other European Union countries, on paper or electronic, as long as they contain the details required by EU rules and the medicine is authorised in Spain. Bring the prescription and your ID card or passport and we check on the spot whether we can dispense it.

Yes: these are medicines that need a prescription in Spain. Prescriptions from other EU countries are valid if they include the details required by the EU Directive. Narcotic and psychotropic medicines cannot be dispensed on a foreign prescription.
If the prescription is complete and we have the medicine, a few minutes. If we have to order it or find an equivalent, we tell you when it will be ready.
With a prescription from another country you pay the full price of the medicine in Spain: the Spanish public subsidy does not apply. Keep the receipt to claim a refund at home if your insurance covers it. Ask us the amount before we dispense it.
